SmartWorkout was founded by Lucas and Christelle. We are two fitness enthusiasts who used to work in banking and could not find enough time to properly work out. 

After some researches, we found that variable resistance training with bands was ideal for short and intensive workouts: one set per exercises is needed only, as you can take your muscles to a much deeper level of fatigue since you are training with all ranges of motion.

We faced two problems when training with bands: 1) training with a heavy band by itself is uncomfortable and dangerous for wrists 2) all fitness equipment, including bands, are either poorly made or break after a few uses.

That’s when the lightbulb moment hit— ”let’s just create the products we need!”

It took hundreds of design redos and testing ourselves to create the ultimate portable gym, that would allow us to perform main gym exercises such as Chest Press, Squat and Deadlift, safely, while using very heavy variable resistance.

By using the finest materials in the market, we were finally able to design the ultimate portable gym : SmartWorkout Elite; and back it up with a 5 year warranty, so we can all work out in peace, anytime, anywhere and in 20 minutes per day only.
